Wing view prints from the window seat, the seat I always ask for. Two were taken from a passenger seat on ordinary airline flights, one at sunset in July and one on a wet afternoon in January. I took the third from a seat I won, on a sightseeing flight over the Alps one Saturday in December.
Golden Departure was made a few minutes after take-off from Munich, when the Embraer E190 climbed out above the clouds and the setting sun turned the window frame gold. Cleared After Rain was made at Amsterdam Schiphol on a winter afternoon, seconds after lift-off, with the wet threshold of runway 18L shining under the engine of an Airbus A320. In Alpine Pass, the wing of an Airbus A220 reaches out over the snowy Italian Alps and the winglet points at the peaks.
Each comes as a fine-art print on Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta paper or as an acrylic glass print, in four sizes from 20 × 30 to 80 × 120 cm. For a wall that needs the cockpit instead, see the cockpit prints.
